Join us as Staci Clevett, Chartered Professional Accounted and owner of S.Clevett Professional Accounting, provides you with a basic understanding of the rules and regulations for Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA). This workshop is intended for exsiting or just starting out, small to medium size business owners and/or their bookkeepers. The session will include a presentation as well as a questions and answer period.

Learning Objectives:

– What the difference between a sole proprietorship, partnership and corporation is.

– Learn about CRA accounts necessary for operating your business such as GST and Payroll and some of the common mistakes.

– Understand the various forms of tax returns related to personal income tax.

– Learn about the types of audits conducted by CRA and the documentation that you should keep.

Presenter – Staci Clevett, CGA

Staci is a Chartered Professional Accountant and has been in public practice accounting for nearly a decade and operates her own firm locally here in Fort McMurray. She has worked with businesses of all sizes and in various industries from “mom and pop” shops to multi-million dollar organizations. She believes that the most successful businesses are made by individuals who are empowered with knowledge and she is passionate about assisting clients understand the financial aspect of their business.
